David B Mittelman

I have been involved in high-tech companies since leaving the U.S. Naval Submarine Service in 2008. I have worked with successful companies, from start-ups to thriving ongoing ventures, including home automation firms, new media companies, defense contractors, and government agencies. My experience spans hardware and software development to project management, with a keen understanding of how technology impacts today’s business.

My in-depth knowledge of the engineering process allows me to examine the entire problem space and understand the issues and hurdles between now and the end goal, as well as to drill down and focus on the individual issues involved in achieving that goal.

I have an unsatiated thirst for applying Artificial Intelligence to every problem space I encounter. I find deep inspiration in what lies before us as a society as we continue to push the limits of technology. I am a member of AAAI and IEEE.

I am also an avid photographer. I am always looking for someone to model for me and never leave my camera far from my side, whether I am hiking in the California Mountains or Scuba Diving off the coast of New Zealand.

I'm always looking for that next great adventure regardless of what I am doing.
